I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious with a beautiful view of Chuzenji Lake, elegantly decorated in a traditional style, impeccably clean, and featured modern amenities. The futon beds, though initially firm, provided a comfortable night's sleep. The open-air bath was a relaxing bonus, offering stunning forest views.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Despite the language barrier, they were incredibly hospitable and helpful, even arranging a special outing for us. The shuttle service was a convenient perk.

I couldn't get enough of the breathtaking nature view from my room overlooking the woods and mountains. The rooms were simple yet beautiful, making my stay truly enjoyable. The only downside was the slight inaccessibility without personal transport, but the hotel's star service more than made up for it.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats and futon mattresses were cozy and traditional, although the lack of natural light made it feel a bit soulless. On the upside, the open-air bath offered a fantastic view of nature, providing a relaxing experience. The service was good overall, with staff going out of their way to accommodate our meal preferences and offering friendly assistance, even though communication in English was limited. The location by Lake Chuzenji was great for a peaceful getaway, but having a car was necessary to fully explore the area.
